Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of PrepMed. By creating an account or using the app you accept them.

Last updated: 26 July 2026

Who these terms are with

Samyar Aminalsharieh Najafi operates PrepMed as a sole trader, trading as “PrepMed”. Our address for correspondence is 11 Whistle Hollow Way, Stockport, Greater Manchester, SK2 7DB, United Kingdom. If PrepMed is later incorporated, this notice will be updated to name the company and its registered address, and your existing rights will not be reduced. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@auth.prepmed.co.uk.

Intended use

PrepMed is an educational interview-practice tool for doctors. It does not provide clinical advice, employment decisions, or assessment of real-world clinical competence.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a doctor, medical trainee, or applicant preparing for interviews to use PrepMed. You are responsible for using the app lawfully and in line with your own professional obligations.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Tell us at support@auth.prepmed.co.uk if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. You can delete your practice data at any time using the in-app delete-my-data action.

Free trial

The free trial needs no payment card. It starts when your first detailed typed question-bank feedback result succeeds and is saved. It then gives you 72 hours of full access and up to 12 feedback results in total. If you have unused results after the 72 hours, you can use them for typed question-bank feedback only, until the twelfth result or seven days after the trial started, whichever comes first. Daily fair-use limits apply and are shown in the app. When the trial ends, your previous answers and feedback stay available to read. One trial per person, per verified email address.

Postgraduate Founding Beta Pass

The Postgraduate Founding Beta Pass costs £14.99, paid once. It gives you 30 days of postgraduate interview-practice access from the moment we confirm your payment (or, if you already have an active postgraduate pass, 30 days added to the end of it). It does not include MMI access, which is a separate product. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal: when the pass ends, nothing further is charged, and you choose whether to buy another. The pass includes the daily usage allowances shown at checkout (currently 10 detailed and 30 basic feedback results per day, up to 60 minutes of voice transcription per day, and advanced and custom stations within those allowances). Because PrepMed is a beta service, we may adjust daily allowances to protect reliability, but during a pass you have already bought we will not reduce them below 5 detailed results and 30 transcription minutes per day, and we will never shorten the 30 days. No VAT is charged because PrepMed is not VAT registered.

MMI Pass and MMI Realtime

MMI access is sold separately from postgraduate interview practice. The MMI Pass costs £14.99 once and gives 30 days of the MMI allowances shown at checkout, with no automatic renewal. MMI Realtime costs £19.99 per month, renews monthly until cancelled, includes the higher MMI allowances shown at checkout, and is the only customer plan that includes Realtime voice. You can stop future renewals through the billing-management link in your account or by emailing support@auth.prepmed.co.uk; unless a refund or statutory remedy applies, access continues until the end of the paid billing period. MMI limits are measured separately for each entitlement period and are not shared with postgraduate access. No VAT is charged because PrepMed is not VAT registered.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel the initial Postgraduate Pass, MMI Pass, or MMI Realtime purchase within 14 days. Any statutory cancellation refund may be reduced proportionately for service already supplied before you cancelled, and paid access will end when a cancellation refund is issued. To cancel, email support@auth.prepmed.co.uk from your account email address, or use the form in our Refund and cancellation policy. After 14 days, paid periods are non-refundable except where the service is faulty, substantially unavailable, or the law provides otherwise. Statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed services remain unaffected. MMI Realtime subscribers may separately stop future renewals at any time. Any refund due goes back to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of your request and typically within 5–10 working days of being issued, depending on your bank.

Acceptable use

Do not use PrepMed to process patient-identifiable information, confidential documents, or paid question-bank content you are not permitted to share. Do not attempt to misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service, and do not upload material you do not have the right to provide.

Not clinical or hiring advice

The app does not provide clinical advice, assess real-world clinical competence, make hiring recommendations, or replace human interview preparation, supervision, or professional judgement.

AI feedback

Feedback in PrepMed is generated by AI and is coaching support only. It can be incomplete, incorrect, or overly strict and should not be relied on as clinical advice, an employment decision, or proof of competence. See the AI disclaimer for more detail.

Your content

You keep ownership of the text, audio, notes, and uploads you provide. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate the service and generate your feedback, as described in the Privacy notice.

No guarantees

The app is provided on an "as is" basis and may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn. Use of the app does not guarantee interview performance, shortlist outcomes, job offers, or competence progression.

Complaints

If something goes wrong, email support@auth.prepmed.co.uk and we will aim to respond within one business day during the beta. If we cannot resolve a complaint, you can pursue it in the courts of England and Wales, or your local UK courts where consumer law gives you that right. We are not required to use, and do not currently participate in, an alternative dispute resolution scheme. Privacy complaints can also be raised with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable to both of us when you bought the pass, losses caused by your own reliance on AI-generated feedback contrary to the AI disclaimer, or business losses (PrepMed is for personal interview preparation). Our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before it takes effect, and it will not apply to a pass you have already paid for. The date above reflects the latest version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute relating to them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
