Data retention

Retained while your account is active

Practice answers, editable transcripts, custom and advanced scenarios, and profile details are retained while your account is active so the app can show your history, support retries, and tailor future feedback. The delete-my-data action removes this content immediately. You can also submit a verified full account deletion request. The CV feature is disabled; any data retained from the former feature is no longer used and remains covered by delete-my-data.

Records kept separately for a limited purpose

Some records may need to be kept separately from your account where they are needed for a specific purpose:

• Terms and Privacy acceptance records. Evidence of the notices accepted for the account, kept where needed to establish or respond to legal claims.
• Payment and refund records. Kept where required for tax, accounting, payment administration, and legal obligations.
• Trial-abuse-prevention fingerprints (verified-email, IP/device). Kept independently of account deletion where needed to prevent repeat-trial abuse.
• Provider-cost telemetry and product analytics. Used for cost reconciliation and funnel measurement; contains no interview content.
• Operational and security monitoring events. Used to detect and investigate reliability or security incidents.
• Support, safety, and privacy-request records. Kept where needed to resolve the request and maintain proportionate accountability evidence.
• Backups. Follow our hosting and database providers' standard backup and deletion processes.

We keep each category only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose described, or as required by law. Specific retention periods will be published once the corresponding deletion and anonymisation processes are implemented and verified.

Not retained by default

Raw voice audio is not stored by default. The transcript may be kept as part of your answer history, but the original audio recording is not preserved as a standard product record.

Delete-my-data scope

• Deletes attempts.
• Deletes saved custom and advanced scenarios.
• Deletes any CV documents retained from the former CV feature.
• Resets profile details to default values.
